With the leave module, both staff and the company always have up-to-date insight into leave hours. Employees can submit leave requests, and HortiTime automatically books their leave hours as hours worked. In overviews, these leave hours can be hidden again for workforce planning analyses.

Leave is becoming increasingly complex. Companies now deal with statutory leave, extra-statutory leave, time off in lieu, parental leave, special leave, public holidays and much more. A leave module that is integrated with the hours module and planning module, among others, offers the solution.

Companies can set up their own leave types and assign them to the users who are entitled to them. You can also easily enter a base balance for a 40-hour working week, which is then calculated pro rata for each user based on their contract. You can also choose a date for when this adjustment takes effect, so the transition to a new year can be prepared in advance.
